Cricket Match Information:
Australia vs Pakistan series will be the next cricket series to be played Down Under. Australia just concluded a three-match T20 cricket series against Sri Lanka, which they won by a 3-0 margin. This series should prove to be a wonderful opportunity for Australia and Pakistan to prepare for the World T20 tournament to be played next year. Our prediction guru expects Australia to dominate Pakistan at least in the first game of cricket.

Australia are once again going to be led by Aaron Finch in this cricket series. He led his side to victory against Sri Lanka by a 3-0 margin and will be looking forward to this series as well.
Australia have gone in with the same squad that played against Sri Lanka with one big change, Glenn Maxwell has taken an indefinite break from the game of cricket due to mental issues hence, he will not take part in this series. Australia played Ben McDermett in place of Maxwell in the last T20 game and are likely to give him another opportunity.
Our prediction is of the same playing eleven that played the last cricket game.
Here is our prediction of Australia’s playing XI:
- Alex Carey
- Aaron Finch
- David Warner
- Steve Smith
- Ben McDormett
- Ashton Turner
- Ashton Agar
- Pat Cummins
- Mitch Starc
- Kane Richardson
- Adam Zampa
Pakistan are going to be led by Babar Azam in this cricket series. He has replaced Sarfraz Ahmed in the shortest format of the cricket game.
It is going to be a big challenge for Babar Azam to begin his captaincy stint from an Australian tour. It is one of the toughest tours for any visiting side and if you are especially struggling as Pakistan are currently, it becomes more difficult. Before arriving on this tour, Pakistan were whitewashed by a second-string Sri Lankan side at home, which led to the downfall of Sarfraz Ahmed.
Our prediction is of quite a few changes to the playing eleven of Pakistan compared to the one that played in the series against Sri Lanka.
Here is our prediction of Pakistan’s playing XI:
- Babar Azam
- Fakhar Zaman
- Mohammad Rizwan
- Haris Sohail
- Asif Ali
- Shahdab Khan
- Imad Wasim
- Mohammad Aamir
- Mohammad Irfan
- Mohammad Hasnain
Expert Prediction: AUS vs PAK
Pakistan cricket team have arrived in Australia for a three-match T20 cricket series and a two-test match series. Not everything is hale and hearty in Pakistan’s cricket. Their coach, Micky Aurther, was sacked post the 50 over cricket World Cup and now, after a disastrous series against Sri Lanka at home, Sarfraz Ahmed has been sacked as captain. However, it also means that they now have a chance to start afresh and with one year to go to World T20, they can start preparing in time as well.
Australia, on the other hand, look in prime form at the moment. David Warner at the top of the order has been nothing short of sensational while Steve Smith has hardly got an opportunity to bat. On the bowling front, there are very few sides in the world that can match the trio of Mitch Starc, Pat Cummins and Kane Richardson. Finally, after all these years, Australia have decided to prioritise T20 format and the results have started to show as well.
Pakistan’s bowling should be threatening as well but the series will be decided on the basis of how well their batting adjusts to the bouncy nature of Australian wickets. The onus will be on Babar Azam to lead from the front and, hopefully, others will join him too in the run scoring. With visible lack of experience in the batting department, the importance for the opening pair scoring runs becomes critical. Hence, Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman have their task cut out.
