Cricket Match Preview:
India are one step away from creating history. They are one win away from a historic series win in Australia. A country which has proved to be elusive for every touring side is now on the verge of relinquishing a series win to India. With their victory in Melbourne, India are now leading the series by 2-1. Even a draw in the final cricket game will lead India to a series win.
No overseas victory comes easy and it did not for India in Melbourne either. They got lucky with the toss though and never let go of the advantage for the entire cricket game. The quality in Australian bowling attack ensured that India never truly got away from them, but the nature of the pitch allowed India to play within themselves and post a huge total for themselves.
India batted for almost the entire duration of two days and posted a total of 443 runs. From there on, there were only two results possible in the game of cricket–either India’s win or a draw. However, India’s bowling provided a killer blow on day 3 of the test match, when they dismissed Australia to a total of 151 runs. Australia were left to pray for rain after that performance.
Rain did arrive though on day 5 but, by then, Australia were already 8 down. Once the rain stopped, India did not take long to finish off the task and went ahead in the series by 2-1. India will be really motivated to finish the series on a high and it remains to be seen if Australia have enough in them to salvage the series.
Cricket Match Information:
India will be looking for their first cricket series win in Australia when they step on Sydney Cricket Ground. They have never been able to win a cricket series in Australia. Australia, on the other hand, will be looking to do everything in their power to stop that.
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
As predicted in our previous piece, Mayank Agarwal was introduced as an opener in the third test match. It proved to be an inspiring change. India will now have a forced change in the fourth cricket in the form of Rohit Sharma, who will be out of the cricket game as he has become a father recently. Our prediction is of the inclusion of Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing eleven in the next cricket game.
Here is our prediction of India’s playing XI:
- Mayank Agarwal
- Hanuma Vihari
- Virat Kohli
- Cheteshwar Pujara
- Ajinkya Rahane
- Ravichandran Ashwin
- Rishabh Pant
- Kuldeep Yadav
- Ishant Sharma
- Mohammad Shami
- Jasprit Bumrah
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
Australia have included Marnus Labuschagne in their squad for the fourth cricket game. Our prediction is of the inclusion of Marnus in the playing eleven in the next cricket game.
Here is our prediction of Australia’s playing XI:
- Aaron Finch
- Marcus Harris
- Usman Khwaja
- Shaun Marsh
- Marnus Labuschagne
- Travis Head
- Tim Paine
- Mitch Starc
- Pat Cummins
- Nathan Lyon
- Josh Hazlewood
Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Jasprit Bumrah has been absolutely tremendous for India in this cricket series so far. If he stays fit and is part of the playing eleven, he will be expected to play a crucial role again. Our prediction is of another fantastic performance by him in the fourth cricket game.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
The last international cricket test match played here was between Australia and England in an Ashes test match. In that game of cricket, Australia proved to be the winner with a massive first innings score of 649 runs. Our prediction will be of a similar high score in this game of cricket. The pitch is also expected to provide turn to spinners. Conditions are expected to be dry.
India will begin this game of cricket as favourites. Australia’s confidence would have taken a dent after the beating in the previous cricket test match. India will be looking to play positively despite knowing that even a draw can bring them a historic series win. Hence, our prediction will be of an Indian victory post their brilliant performance in the previous game of cricket.
