Cricket Match Preview:
The last few days have not been anything short of euphoric for team India. Ever since they have won the four-match Test cricket series against Australia, there have been celebrations, statements, prize money, announcements and some hyperbole. However, the focus now returns to cricket and the importance of these games cannot be overstated. This is the year of 50 over cricket World Cup and every side is looking to make the most of the remaining ODIs they are scheduled to play.
India and Australia are now scheduled to play three-match ODI cricket series and first ODI is going to be played at Sydney where India played their last test match. There will be a change of personnel in both sides. While the likes of Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni and Shikhar Dhawan return for India, Australia will be led by Aaron Finch and will be joined by senior fast bowlers Peter Siddle, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa in the lineup.
The last time these two sides played an ODI series was in 2017 in India, where India defeated Australia by a margin of 4-1. In that cricket series, Australia were at full strength and even had David Warner and Steve Smith as part of their team. Now that Australia do not have them, Aaron Finch has his hands full and will be looking at his senior player to do the job for them.
India have been very good in the longer format of the cricket game but they still have some holes in their lineup. While Virat Kohli talked about finalizing Ambati Rayudu as their number 4, it remains to be seen how Rayudu adjusts to bouncy pitches of Australia. All eyes will be on Mahendra Singh Dhoni as well, while he remains the first-choice keeper for India in this format, Rishabh Pant is now breathing heavily down his neck more than ever.
It is going to be an interesting series, one in which India will begin as favourites despite being the visiting side. Both sides have something to prove in the cricket series and it is going to be exciting to see how Australia react to their test series loss.
Cricket Match Information:
Exuberant India will now take on Australia in the three-match ODI cricket series. After winning the Test series, Indian cricket team is on a real high and would like to now shift focus on limited overs internationals. Australia, on the other hand, will not like to lose the ODI series at home as well.

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Ambati Rayudu’s role is going to be crucial for India if they have to do well in the upcoming World Cup. Our prediction is of a good performance from him in this cricket game.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
The last international cricket ODI game played on this venue was between Australia and England last year. In that cricket game, England scored 302 runs while batting first and that proved to be enough by 16 runs. Our prediction is of similar scores in this cricket game as well. Conditions are expected to be dry.
India will begin this game of cricket as favourites. They are high on confidence at the moment and that is expected to reflect on their ODI performance as well. Even though India will be without their superstars like Jasprit Bumrah in this cricket series, the absence of David Warner and Steve Smith makes the equation slightly in favour of India.
Top Batsman (Prediction):
Virat Kohli (IND) – 100+ runs
Top Bowler (Prediction):
Kuldeep Yadav (IND) – 3 or more wickets
Most Sixes (Prediction):
Marcus Stoinis (IND)
Australia – 2.20
India – 1.55
