Cricket Match Preview:
Australia became the first team to qualify for the semi-final of ICC World Cup 2019. It did not look like it a year ago when their three players were banned for ball-tampering and the side went on a losing spree. It did not look like it when they lost their game against India in the World Cup and it did not look like it when they were five down for not many against West Indies. But they have done it and they are looking every bit of a side that have won the title five times.
New Zealand have been very predictable so far in the tournament. They have gone about their games in almost a muted manner and been very efficient. Until the Pakistan game, they were the unbeaten side in the tournament along with India. However, the change in various permutations and combinations following two consecutive England’s losses means that New Zealand are still not confirmed for the semi-final spot.
The World Cup finalists of the 2015 tournament will once again be part of a significant encounter. Even though Australia have sealed their semi-final berth, there is still a lot in it for them because they would like to finish at the top position. New Zealand, on the other hand, would like to win the game and seal their semi-final berth. Even if they lose, they will not be out, but it would make their final group game of cricket against England a must-win game.
Australia, in their last cricket game against England, gave their complete performance. In tough conditions, they had to bat first and they put up a good score on the board. While defending, their bowlers were on point, especially Mitch Starc, who looked in prime form. New Zealand will be wary of Starc as he was the one who broke their hearts in the World Cup final of 2015.
New Zealand, on the other hand, are coming off a loss against Pakistan and would like to improve on their weaknesses. Their openers have been completely off-colour and their wicket-keeper, Tom Latham, has not hit the form after coming back from an injury. Other than that, they do not have too many holes and would back themselves to trouble their neighbour.
Cricket Match Information:
Australia will take on New Zealand in their eighth cricket game of the ICC World Cup 2019. Australia have already qualified for the semi-final, whereas New Zealand are on the verge of it. So far, Australia have played seven games and have won six of those, whereas New Zealand have played seven games as well and won five of those, with one game being abandoned due to rain.
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
Australia are being led by Aaron Finch in the World Cup. They became the first team to qualify for the semi-final. Our prediction is of the same playing eleven that played the last game of cricket.

Probable XI (Our Prediction):
New Zealand are being led by Kane Williamson in the World Cup. They are coming into this game after losing their first cricket game of the World Cup 2019. Our prediction is of the inclusion of Henry Nichols in the playing eleven in place of Colin Munro.

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Mitch Starc has hit the red-hot form in this competition. He is one of the highest wicket-takers of the tournament and his delivery to Ben Stokes has become the part of folklore. Our prediction is of another good performance from him.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
The last international ODI cricket game was played here between Pakistan and South Africa recently. It was a good batting wicket, where Pakistan scored over 300 runs. Our prediction is of the score of around 300 again in this game of cricket. Conditions are expected to be cold.
Australia will begin this game of cricket as favourites. They have been in very good form in the World Cup along with their opponents. But thanks to their convincing win over England, our prediction is of an Australian victory.

David Warner (AUS) – 50+ runs
Top Bowler (Prediction):
Mitch Starc (AUS) – 2 or more wickets
