Cricket Match format: ODI

Team B: India
Team A Captain: Mashrafe Mortaza
Team B Captain: Virat Kohli
Cricket Match Preview:
Quietly confident Bangladesh will be taking on India in their final warm-up game. Bangladesh will be looking to mount the troubles for favourites India by beating them in this game of cricket. India have already lost one warm-up game against New Zealand and while these results do not actually count, the moral will definitely take a hit if they fail to improve on their performance.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh enjoyed a rare success in a tri-nation tournament in Ireland. They won the cricket series by beating West Indies thrice including the final, Ireland was the third nation of the series. By the virtue of that victory, Bangladesh have shown that on their day, they can defeat any team in the tournament. They are now a true force to reckon with and are going to be a handful for their opponents.
The concern for them will be the injury to Shakib Al Hasan, who is going to be so important for their success in the big tournament. Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza is known for extracting the best out of his players and he will be looking to take his side at least one step further than the last time when they reached the quarter-finals of 2015 World Cup.
India, on the other hand, looked to test their batsmen in the testing condition against New Zealand. It would be fair to say that their batsmen failed the test after they were bowled out for a paltry 179 runs and could not even play their quota of 50 overs. Only Ravindra Jadeja and, to some extent, Hardik Pandya looked comfortable during their stay, whereas all other famous superstars like Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni looked miserable.
These two teams are supposed to meet each other again in the World Cup hence, any team which wins in this cricket game will hold the advantage when that clash comes. The pressure will be more on India as they are coming into this tournament as favourites hence, they will have to live up to that expectations.
Cricket Match Information:
Bangladesh will take on India in their final warm-up game of cricket before the World Cup begins on the 30th of May. India lost their first warm-up game by six wickets against New Zealand, whereas Bangladesh are scheduled to play their first warm-up game on 26th of May against Pakistan.
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
Bangladesh will be led by Mashrafe Mortaza in the World Cup. They had a disappointing tour of New Zealand in the month of February, where they were whitewashed by New Zealand in the ODI series. They followed that cricket series by winning the tri-series in Ireland. Our prediction is of the same playing eleven that played the last cricket game.
Here is our prediction of Bangladesh’s playing XI:
- Tamim Iqbal
- Liton Das
- Soumya Sarkar
- Mushfiqur Rahim
- Sabbir Rahman
- Shakib Al Hasan
- Mehidy Hasan Miraz
- Rubel Hossain
- Mustafizur Rahman
- Mashrafe Mortaza
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
India will be led by Virat Kohli in the World Cup. They were defeated in their last warm-up game of cricket against New Zealand. Our prediction is of the inclusion of Vijay Shankar and Kedar Jadhav in the playing eleven.
Here is our prediction of India’s playing XI:
- Rohit Sharma
- Shikhar Dhawan
- Vijay Shankar
- Virat Kohli
- MS Dhoni
- Kedar Jadhav
- Kuldeep Yadav
- Bhuvaneshwar Kumar
- Jasprit Bumrah
- Hardik Pandya
Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Tamim Iqbal has troubled India in the past and in the World Cup as well. Our prediction is of a good performance from him in this game of cricket.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
The last international T20 cricket match played here was between Australia and England. England won that cricket game by defending the total of 342 runs. Our prediction is of high first innings score in this cricket game especially if Pakistan bat first. Conditions are expected to be dry.
India will begin this game of cricket as favourites. However, it does not mean that Bangladesh will be a walkover. It is going to be a good game of cricket and our prediction is of India’s victory.

Rohit Sharma (IND) – 100+ runs
