Cricket Match Preview:
South Africa women had a wonderful opportunity to beat the world champions West Indies in their last cricket game. West Indies could only score 107 runs in their 20 overs while batting first and South Africa would have fancied their chances. But as soon as the partnership between Lee and Kapp was broken, South Africa lost their way and ended up losing the game of cricket by a huge margin of 31 runs in a low scoring cricket game.
England, on the other hand, had a slow start in the tournament. Their first cricket game against Sri Lanka women was abandoned without a ball being bowled. With each side supposed to play only 4 cricket games each, one being washed out would have added a pressure on England’s campaign. They are one of the favourites to win the competition and despite the abandonment in the first cricket game, they came back strongly to win the game against Bangladesh women.
South Africa’s bowling has done the job in both of their cricket games so far. They managed to restrict their opponents for the score of 99 and 107 respectively against Sri Lanka and West Indies. However, their problem has been their batting, which just has not been fluent enough. Even in their victory against Sri Lanka, where they were chasing only 99 runs, they took 18 overs to reach the target. This has resulted in their run-rate dropping to a lower level.
Before this tournament, England had played just ten T20 cricket games this year. But out of those ten matches, the tri-series played against New Zealand and Ireland was very significant. They ended up winning the tournament by defeating New Zealand women in the final and that should give them confidence even in this tournament.
Cricket Match Information:
England women and South Africa women will take on each other in a Group A game of cricket. Both teams have played two cricket games each and, while England have won one and their one game was abandoned, South Africa have won one cricket game and lost one. Due to superior run-rate, England are currently on number 2 spot while despite one victory, South Africa are at number 4 spot.

Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
Gros Islet has produced low scoring games of cricket so far in the tournament. Scores of even around 110 runs have proven to be match-winning. Our prediction is of a similar score in this game of cricket. Conditions are expected to be wet as rain has been around the venue.
England women are going to be favourites in this game of cricket. They look a better side and South African women’s confidence must be low after a demoralizing loss against West Indies women.
