Cricket Match Preview:
The caravan of India and Australia will now move to Bengaluru for the second T20 cricket international game. By the time this piece is being written, Australia are well on their way towards winning the first T20 cricket game. India had set the total of only 126 runs for Australia to win and Australia were 42 for 2 at the end of 6 overs.
After clashing with each other a couple of months ago, India and Australia are clashing with each other on Indian soil. Australia are scheduled to play two T20 international cricket games followed by five ODI international games of cricket. This series will be the last series for India before the huge 50 over cricket World Cup.
Both sides took on each other in a three-match T20 cricket series in Australia in November. That series ended up as a draw with both teams winning one cricket game each, whereas one cricket game was washed out due to rain. With limited number of games to be played before the World Cup, India would be especially looking to play these cricket games at their best.
Australia, on the other hand, will be looking to get some wins under their belt. They had a disappointing time back home as India beat them in the test series as well as in the ODI cricket series. Steve Smith and David Warner are still out of the squad and their bans will be revoked during this Australian tour of India, but they will not be included in the squad in this series.
For India, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah were back in the side. Both had been rested in the last few cricket games India had played. Virat Kohli said they were looking to give as many opportunities as possible to the players he thought were going to be part of India World Cup plans. As a result, KL Rahul and Mayank Markande were given the opportunity in the first T20 cricket game.
Cricket Match Information:
India and Australia will take on each other for the final time in the T20 Internationals. By the time this piece is being written, India had set the total of 126 runs for Australia to win the first cricket T20. Both teams are scheduled to play two T20 cricket games followed by five ODI cricket games.
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
For India, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah made a comeback to the playing eleven. KL Rahul made the most of his opportunities as well in the first T20 cricket game. Our prediction is Rohit Sharma might be rested in this cricket game and Shikhar Dhawan will make a comeback.
Here is our prediction of India’s playing XI:
- KL Rahul
- Shikhar Dhawan
- Virat Kohli
- Rishabh Pant
- MS Dhoni
- Dinesh Karthik
- Vijay Shankar
- Krunal Pandya
- Umesh Yadav
- Jasprit Bumrah
- Yuzvendra Chahal
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
Australia will be looking to perform better than they did against India back home. Our prediction is of the same playing eleven that played in the last cricket game.
Here is our prediction of Australia’s playing XI:
- Aaron Finch
- AJ Turner
- D’Arcy Short
- Glenn Maxwell
- Marcus Stoinis
- Peter Handscomb
- Adam Zampa
- JP Behrendroff
- Jhye Richardson
- Nathan Coulter-Nile
- Pat Cummins
Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Glenn Maxwell looked good in the first T20 cricket game and took the game of cricket away from India. He will be crucial for Australia ahead in the series and on the tour. Our prediction is of another hard-hitting knock from him.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
The last international T20 cricket game played on this venue was between India and England back in 2016. India scored 202 runs in that cricket game and won the game of cricket by 75 runs. Our prediction is of a high-scoring cricket game this time around. Conditions are expected to be dry.
India will begin this game of cricket as favourites despite their loss in their last cricket game. They will be playing in their home conditions, whereas Australia will need some time to adjust. Hence, our prediction is of an Indian victory in the first T20 cricket game.
