Cricket Match Preview:
South Africa’s dramatic win over Australia in the final group game of cricket has changed the itinerary of many cricket fans as India finished the group stage at the top of the table and Australia slipped to number two. With India finishing at the top, they will now take on New Zealand, who are on the fourth spot on the points table in the first semi-final. Australia, on the other hand, will play against England in the second semi-final spot.
Despite the injury to their regular opener, injury to their number four player and their premier fast bowler hobbling off in their biggest game, India have finished the group stage at the top of the table. That is a fantastic achievement for Virat Kohli and his men who have lived up to their favourites tag with aplomb. They are now two steps away from creating history yet again.
New Zealand began the tournament in a convincing manner as they piled up one victory after another. Many felt they were a bit lucky with the initial draws as they got to play against the lower-ranked teams a lot. They did make the most of it and were unbeaten till the halfway stage. However, since then, they have lost three back-to-back cricket games and will be coming into the knockout game as an underdog.
The group battle between India and New Zealand was abandoned without a ball being bowled but it seems like God had better plans for this clash. India will be confident coming into this cricket game. They played New Zealand earlier this year in latter’s own conditions and beat them quite comprehensively in the ODI cricket series.
But India knows that they cannot afford to take New Zealand lightly. If there is anything on the pitch for their bowlers, they will come hard at their opponents. Trent Boult has been a lethal before against India, in particular against Rohit Sharma. As we know, Sharma has been the heartbeat of India’s success in this competition and if Boult can get Sharma early, anything can happen post that. We are in for a treat in the first semi-final and if it is as memorable as the last time New Zealand played their semi-final, this tournament will reach its pinnacle.

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Rohit Sharma will be our man to watch out for yet again. He has hit five hundreds in this competition alone and no batsman has ever achieved that feat. Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
The last international cricket ODI cricket played here was between Australia and South Africa recently. South Africa won that cricket game by ten runs. Our prediction is of the score of around 300 yet again in this cricket game. Conditions are expected to be good for cricket.
India will begin this game of cricket as favourites. They are coming into this cricket game with much better recent form than New Zealand. Also because of India’s big match temperament and history, our prediction is of an Indian win.
