Cricket Match Preview:
After the abandonment of the first T20 International cricket game, the caravan of two teams moves to Chandigarh. Both teams would have been disappointed by the wash-out of the first game as teams are looking to play as many numbers of T20 International cricket game as possible before the T20 World Cup next year.
There has been one major development in the last few days, India cricket team coach Ravi Shastri has spoken about young batting superstar, Rishabh Pant, on how his shot selections have let the team down on some occasions. That was a big statement about a young talent from a man who is part of the management. These kinds of statements are not made in Indian cricket, at least not publicly.
From South Africa’s point of view, there has been a leadership change after the World Cup. Coach Otis Gibson has been sacked, whereas skipper Faf du Plessis has been rested and they will be led by Quinton de Kock in this cricket series. Quinton will be leading a young side but young is the way to go in T20s. They have selected a 14-member squad and onus will be on skipper Quinton de Kock, David Miller and Kagiso Rabada to lend their experience to the other members of the side.
India, on other hand, have not had a lot of personnel changes since the World Cup but they are slowly and surely changing the way they are going to approach the T20 internationals now. They have largely retained the same squad that won them the series in West Indies barring the inclusion of Hardik Pandya, who was rested for the tour. The likes of Washington Sundar, Rahul Chahar, Deepak Chahar and Navdeep Saini will get further opportunities to showcase their skills at International level.
South Africa have not had a good time this year with a below-par 50-over cricket World Cup followed by retirements of some of the key men. Amidst this, there was a surprise exclusion of speedster Dale Steyn, who has recently retired from the test format to focus on limited-overs format. If the likes of Kagiso Rabada and others do not pull their socks up, Steyn might find himself in the scheme of things again.

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
After public criticism of coach Ravi Shastri, Rishabh Pant is once again back in the scanner. His career so far has divided opinions among fans. Some claim that he needs to be given more time to find his footing, whereas others have already deemed him as a careless stroke maker. Our prediction is of a good performance from him in this game of cricket and series.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
We are now in the den of Kings XI Punjab. While the home side has not won any IPL trophy as yet, the ground, however, has been witness to some of the finest victories of Indian cricket. Our prediction is of the score of around 180 runs by the team batting first. The pitch has always been great for batting at Mohali. Conditions are expected to be good for cricket.
India will begin this game of cricket as favourites. They will be playing in their home conditions and with South Africa relying on an inexperienced side in these conditions, our prediction is of an Indian win.
