Cricket Match Preview:
India sans MS Dhoni for the first time in International T20 game played in India, won the first game against the world champions West Indies. They won the first game largely because of their bowlers who restricted a strong batting lineup of West Indies to a total of 109 runs. India stuttered a bit themselves during the run chase as they lost 5 wickets but the cool head of Dinesh Karthik and a good cameo by the debutant Krunal Pandya helped them cross the line eventually.
West Indies finally got the services of some of their stalwarts back, but the lack of coordination was pretty apparent in their game. Skipper Craig Brathwaite couldn’t get the best out of his senior players like Keiron Pollard and Darren Bravo as they got out to poor strokes when West Indies needed them to stabilize the innings. If they have to level the series at Lucknow they will have to bat a lot better and with some responsibility.
India on the other hand had a very good outing with the ball as their debutants Khaleel Ahmed and Krunal Pandya gave good performances. The senior bowlers like Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah were their miserly self and never allowed West Indies to get away with the bat. However, their batting left a lot to be desired as they struggled their way to the score of 109 runs posted by West Indies.
India would know that West Indies will come back hard at them in the second international T20 cricket game and hence, they will have to be at their best with the bat. Dependency on the opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan came to the fore once again as their failure led to the discomfort of middle order minus the experience of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Likes of Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul got out to poor strokes and they would like to correct that in the next cricket game.

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
KL Rahul had a poor game in the first T20. However, considering his track record in the IPL and his performance in England in T20s it wouldn’t be a surprise if he plays a good knock in the second game of cricket.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
This will be the first game of cricket ever to be played at this stadium. The nature of the surface isn’t quite known but considering the format it should be a good pitch to bat on. Conditions are expected to be dry.
West Indies began the series as favorites but their performance in the first game means that India should now feel more confident about their chances. Our prediction is of an Indian victory in the second cricket game of T20.
