Cricket Match Preview:
South Africa’s Mzansi Super League (MSL) is the newest member in T20 Cricket league family. The tournament began on 16th November and on Sunday, we will have the first doubleheader, where four cricket teams will be seen in the action. The second cricket match features Paarl Rocks taking on Tshwane Spartans.
Paarl Rocks will be playing their first cricket match of the tournament. They will be missing their marquee player FAF Du Plessis, who is marshalling the South African cricket team in Australia. Paarl has named Henry Davids to be the new captain in Du Plessis’ absence. Davids possesses years of cricket experience and will be the batting mainstay as well.
The Rocks added David Wiese and Michael Klinger to the squad. Klinger adds the Australian flavour to the team and toughened from the Big Bash, will be of immense value for the Paarl cricket team. They also have the mercurial all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who has excelled at T20 cricket all around the globe. Bravo adds incredible depth to the cricket team and will be handy with the ball as well. Aiden Markram, Dane Paterson, Cameron Bancroft and Tabrez Shamsi are other notable names.
Tshwane Spartans went down to Cape Town Blitz in the opening cricket match of the MSL. Their bowling department suffered at the hands of Blitz and only the Sri Lankan import, Jeevan Mendis, returned with respectable bowling figures. The Spartans conceded 180 runs in 20 overs and faced a tough total to pick the opening win.
The chase from Spartans began poorly as they lost both their openers for single digits. This brought the international pair of Dean Elgar and AB De Villiers at the crease. Batting in his own blessed way, De Villiers smashed 59 runs from 30 balls. After ABD’s dismissal, other batsmen showed no resistance and the Spartans folded up in just 131 runs. The Spartans conceded a 49-run defeat in their opening cricket match.
The Spartans face another stiff challenge now as they square off against Paarl Rocks. A keenly contested encounter is expected.

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Invariably all the eyeballs will be on the South African Cricket legend AB De Villiers. The beast smashed 59 runs from 30 balls with three fours and five sixes. One of the sixes was a reverse sweep that went for a half-dozen runs. He will once again be the batsman to watch out for.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
Boland Park is usually supportive for the pace bowlers. Considering the demands of the T20 cricket tournament, it should hold plenty of runs as well.
Tshwane Spartans lost in the first match, but they will be determined to jump back in the competition. AB De Villiers is not a man who is content with individual performance and will be seeking a win against Paarl Rocks. Our prediction backs the great cricket batsman and his team, Tshwane Spartans.
