Perth Scorchers are being led by Mitch Marsh in this season of Big Bash League. They have remained inconsistent so far in the tournament but have hung in there on the points table.
They would like to forget their last two cricket games as quickly as possible. They were completely outplayed by Stars in their own backyard and then away from home. Skipper Mitch Marsh has been inspirational this season with his performances and he would like to continue that.
Our prediction is of the same playing eleven that played the last cricket game barring any injury.
Here is our prediction of Perth Scorchers’ playing XI:
- Mitch Marsh
- Liam Livingstone
- Cameron Bancroft
- J Morgan
- TH David
- Jhye Richardson
- Chris Jordan
- JP Inglis

- JS Paris
Sydney Thunder are being led by Callum Ferguson this season. They got an important win in their last game against Sydney Sixers via Duckworth-Lewis method.
Their bowlers, led by Chris Morris, picked up lots of wickets early on in the game and shut Sixers out of it. During the response, rain gave them just enough time to get ahead in the competition and then abandoned the game. In the end, Thunder got the win they needed by four runs via D/L method.
Our prediction is of the same playing eleven that played the last cricket game.
Here is our prediction of Sydney Thunder’s playing XI:
- Callum Ferguson
- Usman Khawaja
- Alex Hales

Expert Prediction: PRS vs THU
Sydney Thunder moved up to the fourth position all of a sudden courtesy of their win in their last game. Perth Scorchers, on the other hand, have slipped to fifth position by losing their last two games of cricket. Clearly, it is going to be an important game of cricket for not only these two sides but also for the other teams looking to qualify for the next round.
The Big Bash League has been changed as a format this year. The tournament will be played over a period of 42 days and a total number of five teams will have the chance to qualify for the finals, instead of the usual four teams.
As per the new format, the teams finishing in the top two will be rewarded for their consistency, unlike in previous seasons. While the winner of the ‘qualifier’ played between the top two teams will reach the final straightaway, the loser will play the ‘challenger’ against the winner of the ‘knockout’ which is going to be played between the side that finished third and winner of the ‘eliminator’.
The Eliminator is a newly introduced knockout feature, which will be played between the teams finishing at number fourth and fifth on the points table. Hence, out of the eight teams, five teams will have a chance to play the final and win the tournament.
In the last five encounters between the two sides, Thunder have been the winner on the last three occasions, whereas Scorchers have been the winner on the other two occasions.
Astrology Prediction: PRS vs THU
