Cricket Match Preview:
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on each other in their sixth game of cricket in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year. While DC have been quite inconsistent in the tournament so far, the winless streak of RCB has now extended to their fourth cricket game. They have now played four cricket games and lost all four of them. By the time this piece is being written, they are scheduled to play against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 5th of April.
DC, in their cricket game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, went with perhaps their best team with the inclusion of Axar Patel, Rahul Tewatia and Ishant Sharma. They have shown in their four cricket games that they are different from their previous versions in a lot of ways. They are more fearless, entertaining and skilled than their squads of years gone by. But all those things come at a cost and DC are paying that cost in the form of inconsistency and some false bravado.
RCB have almost exhausted all of their options in the first four games of cricket. In all of those cricket games, they have gone in with different opening combinations. In their last game of cricket against Rajasthan Royals (RR), they got the services of all-rounder Marcus Stoinis for the first time. They perhaps played their most balanced side as yet but it was not enough for them to win that game of cricket.
DC should be getting frustrated now with the likes of Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant, who have got in multiple times but failed to make an impact in every game of cricket. In every game, DC had a chance to win but they have blown hot and cold so far in the tournament.
Apart from the failure of his team, what must also be concerning for Virat Kohli is his form and AB de Villiers’ inconsistency with the bat. Both of them have been the backbone of RCB’s batting for years now and in the absence of their runs, immense pressure has fallen on the rest of their batting. Their bowling was always going to be under the pump in the absence of any star power in their rank.

Royal Challengers Bangalore
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
RCB are being led by Virat Kohli once again. They have got a horrendous start to their season. Our prediction is of at least one change in Tim Southee for their next cricket game as they look to avoid another loss in the competition.

- Virat Kohli
- Parthiv Patel
- AB de Villiers
- Marcus Stoinis
- Moeen Ali
- Yuzvendra Chahal
- Shivam Dube

- Mohammad Siraj
- NA Saini
- Tim Southee
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
DC is being led by young batsman Shreyas Iyer in their first ever tournament. They have begun well this year but have been inconsistent. Our prediction is of the same playing eleven that played in their last cricket game.
Here is our prediction of DC’s playing XI:
- Shreyas Iyer
- Rishabh Pant
- Shikhar Dhawan
- Chris Morris
- Prithvi Shaw

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Prithvi Shaw has had an inconsistent IPL so far. He has scored 99 in one game but failed to make an impact in other games. Our prediction is of a good knock from him.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
The pitch in Bangalore has returned to its old self and lots of runs are in store for the batsmen. The bowlers will have to struggle a lot on this pitch. Hence, our prediction is of a score of around 180 this time around. Conditions are expected to be dry.
DC will begin this game of cricket as favourites. While they have not won every game of cricket, they have been in the games in all of them. Hence, DC will begin this game of cricket as favourites.
