Cricket Match Preview:

We are nearing the season finale of this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL). While the sun has shone on various teams this season, it has once again been a disappointing season for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and its supporters. Absolutely nothing went their way since the season’s inception. They got on a roll slightly late in the tournament only to stutter once again. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), on the other hand, have not been their consistent self but still have hung into the fourth spot on the points table.

Even though RCB have crashed out of the tournament, the battle between a few men will still be worth watching. Rashid Khan against Virat Kohli. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar against AB de Villiers. These battles will go a long way in dictating the outcome of this cricket game. The last time these two sides met, everything went SRH’s way. The opening duo of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow did the damage by hitting the centuries a piece and RCB had to deal with an embarrassing loss.

However, both men are now gone from SRH’s lineup and RCB’s bowlers will breathe a huge sigh of relief. Kane Williamson will be leading the side for SRH and it remains to be seen if Martin Guptill gets an opportunity at the top with Wriddhiman Saha for this cricket game. SRH are coming off a big victory against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in their last cricket game. But like many other cricket games, David Warner emerged a hero for them in that cricket game as well.

SRH defeated RCB in the final of IPL 2016. Since then, it has all gone worse for RCB as they have failed to qualify for the playoffs. With AB de Villiers already retired from the international cricket, it is not clear if fans will get to see Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers play together again hence, it will work as an added motivation to the entire team.

It is going to be an important cricket game for SRH as a win will see them reach the playoff spot, whereas the loss will make them wait for other results. RCB would like to play the party spoiler for them and end their season on a high.

Cricket Match Information:

RCB and SRH will take on each other for the second and final time in the IPL 2019. SRH are currently in the fourth position, whereas RCB are in the last position on the points table.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Probable XI (Our Prediction):

RCB are being led by Virat Kohli once again. Our prediction is of the same playing eleven that played their last cricket game.

Here is our prediction of RCB’s playing XI:

  • Virat Kohli
  • Parthiv Patel
  • AB de Villiers
  • Shimron Hetmyer
  • Moeen Ali
  • Yuzvendra Chahal
  • Shivam Dube
  • Umesh Yadav
  • Mohammad Siraj
  • NA Saini
  • Tim Southee

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Probable XI (Our Prediction):

SRH have appointed Kane Williamson as their captain on this occasion just like in previous season. Our prediction is of the inclusion of Martin Guptill in place of David Warner for this cricket game.

Here is our prediction of SRH’s playing XI:

  • Martin Guptill
  • Wriddhiman Saha
  • Mohammad Nabi
  • Manish Pandey
  • Yusuf Pathan
  • Bhuvaneshwar Kumar
  • Rashid Khan
  • Sandeep Sharma
  • Vijay Shankar
  • Deepak Hooda
  • Abhishek Sharma

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:

With David Warner gone, extra responsibility will be on Kane Williamson’s shoulders to score runs. Our prediction is of a good knock from the skipper.

Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:

The pitch in Bengaluru has been beautiful to bat on. Teams have easily chased down scores of around 200 runs in this IPL on this ground. Even the teams who could not chase down the scores almost reached the required total. Our prediction is of a score of around 200 this time around. Conditions are expected to be dry.

Our Prediction:

SRH will begin this game of cricket as favourites. They have a better overall record against RCB. Even with David Warner missing, SRH have enough strength to set aside RCB. Hence, our prediction is of SRH’s victory.

Top Batsman (Prediction):

Kane Williamson (SRH) – 50+ runs

Top Bowler (Prediction):

Rashid Khan (SRH) – 2 or more wickets

Most Sixes (Prediction):

Manish Pandey (SRH)
