Cricket Match Preview:
England women team will conclude their Sri Lankan tour with the third and final T20 cricket game of the three-match series. By the time this piece is being written, England women had already won the first T20 international played against Sri Lanka easily by eight wickets while the second T20 cricket game is ongoing.
The difference in class of the two sides became more apparent in the first T20 played, where we saw England women easily chasing down the total of 94 runs set by Sri Lanka. England women have just too many matchwinners in their lineup compared to Sri Lanka, who are still finding their feet at this level of the cricket game.
England have gone from strength to strength after beating India in India in the shortest format of the cricket game, where they beat the host by 3-0 margin. England women were defeated in the 50 over format by India women but they have not looked back ever since.
Sri Lanka women, on the other hand, are struggling in all aspects of their cricket game. They have lost all the cricket games played this year. Even in the first T20 cricket game, England women bowled Sri Lanka women out for the low score. Every English bowler bowled well and kept on picking up wickets regularly.
Sri Lankan skipper AC Jayangani has a tough task on her hand to resurrect Sri Lankan women cricket team. Losing the game of cricket continuously never does anyone good hence, the sooner this losing rut ends, the better it will be for Sri Lanka. This cricket series has also brought the opportunity for many wide-eyed Sri Lankan young players to look at their England counterparts closely and to learn from them.
England women will also look to give opportunities to their less known players so that they can get international exposure as well. With T20 World Cup scheduled next year, it will be important for them to make a strong core group of players.

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:

Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
The last international T20 cricket game played here was between Hong Kong and Nepal in 2014. That game was a low-scoring affair. Even in the second game of cricket played between Sri Lanka women and England women, the pitch looked slow. Our prediction is of a score of around 120 in this cricket game.
England women will begin the cricket game as overwhelming favourites. They have too many matchwinners in their lineup and are in good form compared to their Sri Lankan counterparts. Hence, our prediction is of another easy victory for England women.
Top Batsman (Prediction):
TT Beaumont (ENG) – 50+ runs
Top Bowler (Prediction):
Katherine Brunt (ENG) – 2 or more wickets
Most Sixes (Prediction):
Danielle Wyat (ENG)
