Cricket Match Preview:
From being on the verge of elimination to playing in the first semi-final Queensland have completely turned around their fortune. They have played some wonderful and exciting cricket throughout the tournament especially with the bat. They would feel they can still spring a surprise or two in the tournament.
After the end of group stages, Tasmania were number 2 on the points table with three wins out of five games whereas Queensland was languishing at the bottom with one win out five games. When these two sides played each other in the group stage, Tasmania came out as a winner in a hard-fought game. After winning the toss, Queensland put up one of their usual hard-hitting performance and ended up with 316 runs on the board. However, as has been the case throughout the tournament, their bowlers could not quite do the job and Tasmania won the game of cricket by four wickets with six balls remaining.
The story of Queensland has been their batting led by Chris Lynn, who is probably in the form of his life. Lynn has already hit two centuries in the tournament and he has been brilliantly supported by Joe Burns, Max Bryant and SD Heazlett. They were again the heroes in the qualifying final game against South Australia. Due to the all-round batting performance, Queensland reached a mammoth total of 363 for 5 after 50 overs. In their defence, they again bowled badly and could have lost the cricket game. But the target proved to be too far for South Australia as they were dismissed for 334 with still 16 balls remaining.
Tasmania, on the other hand, have had a mixed run. In their last four games, they have won two and lost two. Most recently, they lost to Western Australia as they couldn’t defend their total of 290 runs against the likes of D’Arcy Short and Marcus Stoinis. Their batting hasn’t been to the level of Queensland with their highest score being 321 against Victoria. However, their bowlers have done a far decent job than Queensland.
For Tasmania to conquer Queensland, they will have to bowl well. Their batting will feel comfortable against their opponent but the fearsome batting lineup of Queensland will have to be restricted if they are going to have a chance of winning this game of cricket.

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Max Bryant has threatened the big score in every game without scoring a big one as yet. Our prediction is to expect a big one from the big hitting youngster.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
Pitch should be really flat for the semi-final and a huge score can be seen from both the sides. Our prediction is to expect a game full of runs and we might get to see huge total from both the sides.
Queensland are having all the right momentum right now. Though their bowling lacks the penetration it is more than made up by their destructive batting. Our prediction is to expect a Queensland win.
