Trinbago Knight Riders are going to play their third CPL final out of the last four finals played. That is remarkable consistency in a format that leads to various inconsistencies. This is also the second time in a row when they had to take the harder and longer route to reach the final. Last year they got beaten in the first qualifier by St Kitts and had to play the eliminator against the Guyana Amazon Warriors. They emerged the winner then by first defeating Warriors in the eliminator by 6 wickets and then eventually beating St Kitts in the final by 3 wickets.
This time as well they have been beaten in the first qualifier by Guyana Amazon Warriors and they had to win the eliminator against the St Kitts. In the game against the St Kitts they almost played their A game. Sent again to bat first they had to dig in and helped by the useful contributions from everyone they reached a good score of 165 on a slow pitch. In reply their spinners once again put the stranglehold on the opposition and never allowed them to run away. Fawad Ahmed continued his fine wicket-taking form and Sunil Narine was as miserly as possible. They are once again going to be the key for Knight Riders in the final.
For Guyana Amazon Warriors It would have been good to get some time to rejuvenate after the tough qualifier. The break since the qualifier 1 must have given time to reflect and analyse their own strength and weaknesses better. They are a side who is full of young destructive batsmen along with senior experience batsmen.
Guyana would want their most prolific and destructive batsman Shimron Hetmyer to continue his good form. He has also been supported brilliantly by another youngster Sherfane Rutherford. These two stole the game away from Knight Riders in both the last games. They would want a good start on this occasion though from Luke Ronchi who has been kept quiet by the bowlers. Apart from them Sohail Tanvir is always going to be crucial with both bat and ball.
As seen in the eliminator, the pitch is going to be slow in nature and run scoring is going to be tricky in the middle overs. Hence, it become crucial that top 3 batsmen in both the line up get in and provide a good start to their team. That will set the tone for power hitters scheduled to arrive later in the innings. It is once again going to be interesting to see how the spinners of Knight Riders fare against the hitting of Warriors.
Trinbago Knight Riders will take on Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final of this edition of Caribbean Premier League. These two teams will meet for the fourth and final time in the tournament. So far in the tournament these two teams have met for three times out of which Guyana Amazon Warriors have emerged victorious on two occasions. More recently they met in the first qualifier where Warriors won the thriller by just 2 wickets against the Knight Riders. That win directly put the Warriors into the Final whereas Knight Riders had to play the eliminator against the St Kitts and Nevas Patriots.

Knight Riders have been unlucky with the toss in last few games. However, the class in their line-up has enabled them to reach the final despite that. On winning the toss they might chose to bat second after having to bat first in so many games. Warriors would hope they get lucky once again for one last time.
MATCH CONDITIONS AND PITCH
Pitch in the eliminator was slow and got slower as the game progressed. The spinners of TKR were effective in the second innings for them. We should expect the similar pitch again. Conditions are expected to be dry.
BETRALLY INDIA`S PREDICTION
We are going with TKR as our team by a whisker. Their experience of past few finals will hold them in good stead and that gives them the edge over Guyana. Guyana on current form is very strong as well. However, how they fare if they are sent to bat first remains to be seen.
