It wasn’t too long ago when Trinbago Knight Riders had begun to slip and it just wasn’t happening for them. They had lost two games in a row and the loss against the Jamaica Tallawahs would have especially shocked them. After posting a mammoth 223 runs on the board and picking up early wickets they would have thought that the game was a done deal. However, Andre Russell decided to own the night and smashed one of the most remarkable centuries in the T20 history. In the end, Jamaica Tallawahs won the game by 4 wickets with 3 balls remaining.
In the very next game, Knight Riders couldn’t quite recover from the shocking loss and lost the game against St Kitts by a margin of 42 runs. These two losses could have easily derailed any other side but not TKR. Led by dynamic Dwayne Bravo, they have regained the momentum and are now four wins out of four games. In each of their last four games, they have managed to win in different styles. They recovered from two losses by beating St Lucia Stars by a close margin of 6 runs. This win was especially important because they defended a total after posting another huge score. A loss here would have really dented their confidence.
Since then they have managed to restrict their nemesis Jamaica Tallawahs, St Kitts and won the games chasing total against Barbados Tridents. TKR are now well on their way of being one of the top 2 sides and it remains to be seen if they stay at the top of the table after their remaining three games.
Guyana Warriors too have been on a hot streak. However, unlike TKR, in their last 5 games, they have lost 2 and won 3. So far in the tournament with 5 wins their position in the semis is secured but like TKR they would like to finish in the top 2 as well. Guyana Amazon Warriors have been buoyed by the presence of Luke Ranchi whose name is fast rising up the ladder in the most destructive openers list.
In their last game having to chase a total of 165 against Barbados Tridents, they won the game by 8 wickets with 20 balls remaining. This was destruction and one that will threaten any team in the competition. While this game showed their destructive abilities, in the game prior to that they again needed to chase down the total of 168 against St Kitts and were struggling at one stage at 149 for 6 with 13 balls remaining. Then Sohail Tanvir played a cool hand of 37 of 20 deliveries and finished off the game for Warriors. This game showed that they are willing to scrap for their wins as well.
In a clash between the top two teams, there are various top players involved and it will be down to them again to get their team across. The likes of Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Colin Munro will be key for TKR while on the other hand Luke Ronchi, Sohail Tanvir and Imran Tahir will be crucial for Guyana Amazon Warriors.
Trinbago Knight Riders will take on Guyana Amazon Warriors in what will be a fascinating clash between the table toppers. While TKR is at the top of the table right now with 5 wins out 7 games, GAW is at the second position with 5 wins out of 7 games as well. However, due to the superior run-rate TKR have taken the first position. That can still change though with both these teams scheduled to play 3 more games. One thing is certain however, both these teams are through to the semi-finals and now the only question remaining is where these two teams will finish before the big knock out games.

Port of Spain pitch has been difficult to chase the totals except for one occasion. Pitch is expected to play at its best at the start of the game and then get slower as the game progresses. We can expect the full game as there is no chance of rain.
BETRALLY INDIA`S PREDICTION
Trinbago Knight Riders will be our favourite for this game but just by the small margin. Their four-match winning streak is the prime reason why they will begin this game as slight favourites. Guyana Amazon Warriors, on the other hand, are a fearsome opponent too and if their one or two players click they could prove to be handy for TKR.
