Cricket Match Preview:
Another exciting clash is in store as two teams from Sydney will clash with each other in their second round of cricket game between each other. However, a lot has changed since their first meeting in the tournament. Sydney Sixers are on the verge of qualification to the next round, whereas Sydney Thunder are on the verge of elimination.
Sydney Thunder, led by Shane Watson and accompanied by two English superstars Jos Butler and Joe Root, would have hoped to do a lot better than they have done so far in the cricket tournament. As of now, Thunder have just 5 wins out of the 12 cricket games played while one of their cricket games against Brisbane Heat was abandoned due to floodlight issue.
Sydney Sixers, on the other hand, led by Moises Henriques, were looking to go at least better than the last time when they finished at 5th position. They are within touching distance of the semifinal spot as they have already registered 7 wins out of 12 cricket games played. They would need one more win to seal the deal.
While Sixers have produced three fantastic victories in their last three cricket games, Thunder have yielded just one win from their last five games of cricket and that has really derailed their campaign. While hypothetically Thunder can still make it, that would require lots of things to go for them.
Sydney Sixers’ batting has really stepped up in the last three cricket games. The addition of James Vince and the form of Josh Phillipe and Moises Henriques have made sure that they have always put on enough runs on the board for their bowlers. Their all-rounder Tom Curran has also been brilliant with both bat and ball and that has really given them good balance.
Cricket Match Information:
Sydney Sixers will look to seal the semifinal spot when they take on Sydney Thunder in their 13th cricket game of the tournament. This will be their second meeting in the cricket tournament, the first round of which was won by Sydney Thunder.
Probable XI (Our Prediction):
Sydney Sixers have been led by Moises Henriques in this edition of the cricket tournament. They were led by Johan Botha last time around. Following their victories in the last three cricket games, our prediction is they will go with the same playing eleven as their last game of cricket.

Probable XI (Our Prediction):
Once again, Sydney Thunder have been led by Shane Watson in this tournament. Our prediction is they will be desperate for a victory in this game of cricket and that might lead to some changes in the playing eleven.

- Shane Watson
- AP Devcich
- C Ferguson
- Jason Sangha
- CJ Green
- GS Sandhu
- Fawad Ahmed

Cricket Statistics and Prediction:
Ben Dwarshuis has been one of the stars of Sydney Sixers. His bowling performances have added a new dimension to an already formidable side. It was his spell of 4 overs 7 runs for three wickets that helped them to win the game of cricket against the Adelaide Strikers in the last cricket game. Our prediction is of a good performance from him in this game of cricket.
Cricket Match Conditions and Pitch:
Sydney Cricket Ground has been very good for Sydney Sixers. All of their last three wins have come in Sydney and they would be hoping to seal the semifinal spot here as well. Our prediction is of a score of around 160 in this game of cricket. Conditions are expected to be dry.
Sydney Sixers will be our predicted winner for this game of cricket. They have been in very good form in the last few games of cricket and that gives them a great advantage over win-deprived Sydney Thunder. Hence, our prediction is of a Sixers’ victory.
